“Join members of the Scranton and Poconos communities for a spectacular day in New York City, “ said organizers of the Federation trip to the Salute to Israel Parade that will be held on Sunday, May 31. “We will march under the banner of The Jewish Federation of Northeast PA .The theme of this year’s parade is ‘Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Tel Aviv ‘and we plan to carry a special banner on the theme as well.”

The march is approximately a mile along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue. We hope to leave the JCC at 6:30 AM and the JRC in Stroudsburg at 7:30 AM RAIN OR SHINE.

After the parade, we will be stopping at Noah’s Ark, a kosher meat restaurant for dinner.
