Dear Friends:
This next Friday and Saturday celebrates Shabbat HaGadol, the Shabbat before Passover. We have scheduled a Service for this next Friday. However, directly following we will celebrate our Community Seder on Tuesday evening. It seems to me to make more sense to celebrate the Shabbat during Passover which is also the weekend of Easter when the children will probably be on vacation and more of our families will have returned from their winter interlude out of town.
Therefore I have asked Henry to allow for a postponement on the Rabbi’s visit to the next Shabbat, April 2, 2010. We will have our adult education at 6:00 pm followed by the Shabbat Service at 8:00
pm. Religious School will take place on Shabbat morning, Saturday beginning at 9:30 am as usual.
I hope that you will all join us for the Community Seder on Tuesday night, March 30.
